back online

After a rather long internet hiatus WIFI is back and we are online again.

Sam is having fun doing the Mambo....

Day 3 wrap up

What a day! We finished the first complete track today and made good progress on the second one called "Keep it". We were back at our house around 23:30 and James and Lento went on rehearsing while Sam made Spaghetti.

To finish the 3rd day here in Waimes, here's a picture of Anis, the house cat straight from hell.

Good ol' Honky Tonk piano

After recording all the guitars and bass for "Sarcasm", Mich played the vibraphone an an old detuned piano. This looks and sounds a little bit like this...

Light speed is underrated

While Lento was recording the bass for one song (and renaming it in an "not suited for children under 16" way…Revenge, Lento! Vendetta, vendetta!), Mich and Daniel drove to Verviers where the nearest music shop is located to get some new strings for an acoustic guitar.

They borrowed Lento's car and Mich drove like an lunatic (in German: Rabiate Rennsau), almost approaching light-speed. You can see in the picture how fast Mich actually drove (you've seen Star Wars, right?).

Now guess what we found in Verviers? Of course you're right...

First bass track is done!

Lento finished the bass track for "Orgasms Saved the World".
Have a look at the vid!

more "leisure" activities

In our series of "what to do when not playing music", we present you an excerpt of the book "The Daily Adventures of Mixerman" by Mixerman (www.mixerman.net). This fall the long awaited sequel, "Zen & the Art of Mixing" will be released by Hal Leonard Pub.

.... preparing more songs

in the meantime Lento is doing his homework: preparing more songs..............

This is what we are listening to in order to get in the right mood at breakfast.
