Recording the piano

The recordings to our 4th album have officially started yesterday evening. We recorded the piano for 3 songs at Mich's place. Thanks to Marc for stopping by and tuning the piano. And of course Sam, who will spent the next entire week with us at the studio.

Tomorrow evening, we will move to a belgian small-town called Waimes, where we will be recording the entire album in the marvelous "La Chapelle Studios". See you tomorrow...

Welcome back to our blog! Not so far in the future, we will begin recording our 4th album at La Chapelle Studios in Belgium. We will be updating this page with pictures, movies and sounds every couple of hours, so you will get a close look at the progression of the recordings.

Pido Perdon Trailer

Here is the first trailer for "Pido Perdon", short-movie by Sascha Heyar which will be released this summer. Daniel wrote the score for it and cello performances are by Emmanuelle Seiwerath. We will keep you informed when the movie will be shown on the big screen.

Sam eating and getting things done

From Friday to Sunday, we stayed in a marvelous Bed&Breakfast in Landrop, near the studio. Thanks to Anne-Marie and her husband, we had breakfast like british Lords.

Mixing Palpitations

We are currently in Hooveloon in the Netherlands to mix our new album. Mixing is done at the Audioworkx Studios by Werner Pensaert. More pictures are coming.

Studio recordings completed

Hello everybody who followed our recording marathon last week. We finished our sessions on Sunday night at 00:30, stuffed our cars with our gear and drove back to Luxembourg.

To sum the last week up: we spend up to 16 hours of recording everyday, tried a lot of new sounds, developed a bunch of new ideas, had a lot of fun eating and drinking together, got to know each other better and made us a week to remember. A very special thank you goes to Sam Wirtz, who worked like a lunatic to prevail against technology and who made us grow to our maximum.

We hope you had fun following us creating the backbone of our new album. However, we are not there yet. We will start recording the backing vocals and other things soon. We will also record cello and strings in the next couple of weeks. We will update this blog as soon as we have something new to show you. So, we will stay in touch. Thank you all and we will get to you soon.
