Mich has left the building

After recording the organ for "Come for you", Mich said goodbye (as you see in this faked archive photo we took some days ago because we forgot to shoot one as he was leaving) got into his car and is right now on his way back to Luxembourg. But don't you fear, dear reader, Mich will be back tomorrow night. It's like in those horror movies: they always come back!

Fear this man

Meanwhile, we're still working on bass and guitars for "Come for you".

Recording "Satellites"

We are currently working on "Satellites", which by the way is not the Eurovision Song Contest winning song, but an old song that Daniel rediscovered in his closet and decided to change entirely.

James is recording right now his guitar on an old Roland amp from the 80ies, probably one of the ugliest amps ever designed by human kind. We just call it the "ugly fucker".

Oh boy, that's really ugly!

Mich has most of his work done and is basically hanging around and drinking beer.

Proof

Here's another picture of our beautiful recording room. Just like that...

How to achieve world domination (for bass players)

First of all, you need more gear. Always twice as much as the next bass player in the neighborhood. Here's the equation:

New gear = more power

What's even cooler than buying it in a shop is ordering it on the internet.

When your gear arrives, quickly open the package and make manly poses…a little bit like this…

Secundo, record a track using the internationally famous "Power stand", that goes like this…

If you look closely, you see how the legs form a perfect triangle which will give you more power to perform with conviction. This will ultimately lead to…

world domination!

Doing stoner guitars

Daniel is doing guitars for "Keep It" using a vintage Marshall Super Lead 100 amp and an Aguilar db112 bass cab.

Doing stoner guitars pt2

The amp is so powerfull, it disturbs every other electronic device!
Have a look at the TV.

back online

After a rather long internet hiatus WIFI is back and we are online again.

Sam is having fun doing the Mambo....

Day 3 wrap up

What a day! We finished the first complete track today and made good progress on the second one called "Keep it". We were back at our house around 23:30 and James and Lento went on rehearsing while Sam made Spaghetti.

To finish the 3rd day here in Waimes, here's a picture of Anis, the house cat straight from hell.

Good ol' Honky Tonk piano

After recording all the guitars and bass for "Sarcasm", Mich played the vibraphone an an old detuned piano. This looks and sounds a little bit like this...
